CHISHOLM (aka Ziggy) - Experienced Foxhunter - Bay 2015 Clydesdale/ Thoroughbred gelding with 4 white socks and a blaze, around 17 hands. This solid horse is attractive and kind, with a great attitude; he always wants to do the right thing. He is excellent in the hunt field. He is surprisingly light on his feet for a big horse, and forward thinking yet light to the aids. He has a good trot, a smooth comfy canter, and is athletic over fences. He has hunted in Virginia with Piedmont, Deep Run, Loudoun, Fairfax, Middleburg, and Blue Ridge Hunts. He has also done a few low jumper shows, hunt trail rides, and received training in dressage, cross country and show jumping. He is good on the ground, loads and trailers well, is good with other horses, and has an ‘in your pocket’ personality. Sound, fit, and ready to go. Suitable for an amateur or foxhunter who wants a good all-around horse, capable of doing lower level eventing and showing as well as having a blast out hunting.
