The driving time is about 25 minutes from Leesburg, VA, 35 to 40 minutes from Dulles Airport (IAD), or 15 minutes from Purcellville, VA.  We are 15-20 minutes from Charles Town, WV, and 10 minutes from Harpers Ferry, WV.  Windchase is approximately an hour north-west of Washington DC.

When coming from most Virginia locations, you will pass through the town of Hillsboro and travel north/west on route 9 for approximately 2 miles.  Turn right on Route 671, the Harpers Ferry Road (there is a traffic light here).  Go 1.3 miles, then turn left on Kidwell Road (Route 787); this is a gravel road. Take the fourth driveway on the right; there is a rock which has the name Windchase on it.

If coming from the north from Maryland or Harpers Ferry, you will turn onto off of route 340 onto Harpers Ferry Road (route 671). Follow this for just over 6 miles, then turn right on Kidwell Road (Route 787), this is a gravel road. Take the fourth driveway on the right, and you will turn by the Windchase Rock.
