YORK DESTINY (aka Desi)
– Liver chestnut 2021 American Sport Horse gelding,
around 15.1 hands. Good
things come in small packages – this athletic and
refined young horse is talented and willing, with tons of
potential. Desi
is a phenomenal mover, light on his feet, naturally
engaged, and beautifully balanced. He has an athletic jump
with excellent form. He is forward thinking and nicely
sensitive, with a super temperament. He is very sound and
has great feet, and has so far done all his work barefoot.
Desi is well schooled for his age, now competing
successfully at the Beginner Novice level. Desi has done
five schooling events, and has won four of them and was
second in the other! Not
a bad start for his competitive career. Desi would suit an
amateur or younger rider who likes an enthusiastic horse
with the ability to move up the levels. He will make a
terrific Eventer, but could also have a bright future as a
dressage or show horse, endurance horse, or foxhunter.
