Invest in the Journey, not the Destination.

This is my personal motto.  You have to enjoy each day of what you do.  It’s not just about achieving your goals, but about savoring life while you travel toward them.
As a rider and an Eventer, if you are in the sport just for the big wins or the chances to ride in international competitions, it is not enough.  The highs are high, but the lows come more often.  If you don’t get satisfaction and joy out of your daily routine, then the big successes don’t come often enough to make it all worthwhile.  I imagine this is true in any walk of life.
You should truly enjoy your lifestyle, and love what you do every day.  I know I do.
Life is a Journey.  Enjoy the Ride.
