KNAPPERD
– Third Level Dressage horse: Bay 2015 imported Dutch
Warmblood gelding, a solidly built 15.3 hands. Knapperd
showed successfully in the Netherlands at the equivalent
of third level before he was imported three years ago. He
is solid at third level dressage, and is schooling the
fourth level movements.
He has automatic lead changes, up to every four
strides. He is excellent in his lateral work, with
shoulder-in, half-pass at trot and canter, travers,
renvers, and working on pirouettes. He is a lovely mover
with three correct gaits, and has a beautiful extended
trot. He is very talented and could continue to move up
the levels. Knapperd is beautifully trained and has a
quiet, kind temperament; he is easy to ride and is a real
schoolmaster type. He is also nice to hack out and ride in
the open, and enjoys jumping small fences. Knapperd would
suit an ambitious rider who wants a horse ready to excel
at the shows, or an amateur who wants a kind partner to
gain experience with. Sound, healthy, in work and ready to
go to the shows. A good home is a must for this special
