ATHLONE – Super talented Eventer on his way up the levels. Dark Bay 2014 Thoroughbred gelding by El Corredor, around 17 hands. This is a really special horse with the talent to go to the top of the sport. He has competed very successfully at Novice and is schooling Training and Prelim confidently, and is ready to move up the levels quickly.  This beautiful horse is a light airy mover with three good gaits, and has been scoring in the low twenties in dressage. He is a fantastic jumper, bold and scopey, with auto changes – a real jumping machine. He is nicely forward-thinking and keeps a great balance and rhythm to the jumps. He is responsive to the aids and goes in a plain snaffle in all three phases. Athlone is a really classy top level prospect with tons of ability and a bright future. He is suitable for an ambitious rider who wants to go to the top, but is also easy enough to ride for a competent amateur who wants a talented partner to go up through the levels with.
